I saw this easy recipe on Taste of Home, I think, and since I love chocolate and nuts decide to give it a whirl. I've always wanted to try biscotti. This is really easy to make!
These pancakes aren't too sweet on their own, but 3 pancakes gives you 5 grams of fiber and 4.9 g of protein with only 2.9 g of fat and 162.3 calories. If you have a glass of milk and some fruit with it, it's a very filling breakfast!
My daughter didn't want eggs for dinner and I needed to use them so I improvised. We got to use many items in our fridge and get a tastey meal. Enjoy!
Pretty good with apple butter or fruit (not in the nutrition). Makes about 27 silver dollar sized ones.
I have made a similar recipe, but decided to add some carrots and more fiber. Yum!
I got this from a Taste of Home magazine and used Wholewheat bread and reduced the butter and sugar. My husband loves it. You make it ahead of time and let the bread soak up the milk mixture. It's heavenly with some sausage (not in the nutritional info). I used 15 slices of bread so 1 serving is 1 1/2 slices of bread.
I love quiche and continue to try different variations. Asparagus is an awesome vegetable to work with and is refreshing with feta! Enjoy.
My sweet hubby made me a smoothie and even measured the ingredients for me! Needs more ice, he says, even before I could mention, but it's still good!!
This was one of my 1st non-smoothie recipes in the Vitamix so I made it pretty much "as is", except that I did my usual part whole wheat flour in the recipe. I also split the all raisins and put some cranberries in there, too. I think next time I will sub in some applesauce instead of the oil. It seemed just a bit dry and it will cut down on fat and calories, maybe.
My kids love pancakes and especially love blueberries so when I saw the Quaker Oatmeal Pancake mix I decided to put it all together. It was a huge hit, my 6 year old ate 3!
The fat has been reduced in this wonderful English side dish. Everyone still fights for the last piece.
This is a yummy egg brunch or dinner. You can lighten this up by using turkey bacon.
This easy recipe uses fresh cherries and chopped walnuts to make a chewy, rustic cake with a delightfully crunchy top.
