A rich dessert (don't know if it really is connected to Nieman Marcus) for a special potluck or occasion. It tastes great and is bad for you.
I saw this online, but don't remember where. It is so easy to make I could memorize it without trouble.
Variation of Cook's Illustrated recipe. 2 sticks of butter instead of 2 1/2. Did it by accident once, was less "greasy" than before, and a bit creamier.
This is a recipe I found that made 300 cookies- way too many to have on hand in my house... so I've modified it to make about 90 large cookies. This recipe is so yummy and no flour!

me and my bosses daughter spent the day in the office today planning these cookies. It's her last day tomorrow so I said I'd bring in something "nice" and we brainstormed for a while and we came up with these. She wanted to buy something, but I always think something homemade goes over much better. They're easy as pie. I made them while waiting for rice to cook. And nummy to boot. If the family keeps munching there'll be none left for tea time at the office tomorrow!
