This recipe is on the box of Barilla's Piccolini Mini Farfalle. I added chicken (used the Italian style Aldi's pre-cooked chicken) and Italian seasoning. The seasoning isn't listed in the ingredients because it doesn't seem to be listed in SP's database. I reduced the amount of Parmesan Cheese to 1/4c. from 1 c.
We enjoy this recipe with either smoked sausage (which the nutritionals are based on) or mild Italian sausage. The smoked sausage is fully cooked, so just needs a little browning. Top with grated Parmesan cheese. Great with a slice of light garlic bread.

Wire mesh sieve, medium bowl, small bowl, pastry brush, small saucepan, 9x9 inch baking pan or dish
1 lb Lima beans (dry)
2 chopped onions
2 chopped bell peppers
3 minced garlic cloves
3 Cups Vegetable or chicken broth
3 Cups water
1 tsp thyme
1 tsp parsley
1 tsp oregano
Salt and Pepper to taste
1 T olive oil
