A recipe I found online and modified to fit my favorite ingredients. Mostly just adding here to get the nutrition. Sorry I don't have the site I found it at.
This dough is tasty and better for you than those made with white flour alone.
I adapted my usual pasta sauce recipe to reduce the calories and sodium.
Substitute Egg Beaters for part of the olive oil -- for a yummy, fulll-bodied original flavor Caesar Salad.!
This is something I literally threw together because I was wanting pasta and suace! I really liked it and thought I should share.
Made with real eggs, this is a nice brunch item, or dinner.
Borrowed and modified from a recipe I found online.
Serve with a salad.
I loved the pizza bake idea from the Bisquick Smart Start box, but there is a problem.... I'm vegetarian.... no chicken for me!
So, I made some adjustments, doubled it, added some things, and it turned out very well. I made it for three, with a salad, very satisfying, and kept my non-veg boyfriend rather happy. If you're a big eater, then make it for 2.
Or as I call it, fridge dump soup. This is me, emptying my vegetable drawer during the DC Snowacolypse of 2010. The result, a very yummy, herby, minestrone based soup.
Quick, cheap, and serves a crowd. Use whole wheat pasta to make it more filling. I basically threw the remains of a lasagna adventure in a pan and voila!
3 Meatballs per serving. It's really more than 4 servings of pasta but only 4 servings of meatballs...so it would actually be a little less calories.
Whole grain spaghetti mixed with feta, kalamata olive, sun-dried tomatoes and pine nuts
Great Vegetable Idea. No cheese or pasta added to this version. I love serving w/ a side of spaghetti squash (squash not included in nutrition info).
You can also add other veggies to your lasagna or cheese if you like. Just remember to add up the nutritional value of those items to recipe.
This recipe can definately be doubled if you want more.
WW 2 p+ Value per serving
I make my meatballs with the recipe below because i have a dairy allergy and cannot use regular season breadcrumbs or regular milk. So i make my own breadcrumbs omitting the parmesan. I also really LOVE Garlic :-)
Easy prep ahead - do chopping when you have the time, then throw the meal together when you get home.
