To sneak in some extra veggies (a full cup of celery) and make my mom's tuna salad recipe less fattening, I came up with this recipe. My husband loves it!
These Salmon Patties just have a small amount of cornmeal, spices & egg whites to bind. Fry with minimal oil or use 0 cal spray.
Mix 3 chopped garlic cloves, 2 T of low sodium Soy Sauce, 1Tbsp Natural Rice Vinegar, 1T toasted Sesame Oil, 1 tsp Red Pepper Flakes,1/4C. Honey.
Mix together.
Place the salmon inside foil and fold up all four sides. Place in a 13x9 baking dish. Pour the sauce over the salmon and close the foil.
Bake at 375 for 18-20minutes
Garnish with 2 green onions and 1/2t sesame seeds
