Every time we have had a get together my friend Laurie has made this time (I even request it.). So, I decided to finally recreate the recipe myself. Changed from a recipe using erythritol. Dense and delicious, and no wheat.
A wonderful, easy, creamy hot dip that even sauerkraut haters love. I often take this to work potlucks because I can assemble it at work. Just throw everything in and stir a few times.
I reengenieered the recipe to reduce the fat and calories.

My Uncle made a version of this with Spam while we stayed with him in California on vacation, so I tried to replicate it at home. It's actually better with Spam! I'll do that next time, but this was pretty good and the kids gobbled this up as well!
I thought this sounded good from another Sparker so I made my own with more asparagus, no olive oil and changed the onions to red onions. Maybe next time some slivered almonds would be nice. Hmmmmm.....
