This is a savory salad with fruit overtones, but with out the sweetness of traditional fruit salad. It has a hint of creaminess from the feta cheese and the cashews give it a nice nuty crunch.

I got this recipe from a school cookbook, it contains an abundance of fresh veggies. I adjust the recipe to my personal taste, but I kept the values for the recipe as follows. Enjoy!

This is a copy of Panera Bread's orchard harvest salad, which I just can't get enough of! A tasty salad of romaine lettuce, dried cherries, gorgonzola, and pecans.

I love this on my salads.

Great for topping "Spanish Omelet" (see my recipe) or in sandwiches.

Couple with Olive Salad Dressing

Very easy and impressive recipe with or without cherries. I make it both ways. This makes alot of food, and its very refreshing. Great to have around for a snack or the side to a lunchtime sandwich, and can even satisfy a mild sweet tooth. This is a must try!

A lighter, less sweet version. Add sweetener, sugar and/or use sweet relish if desired but don't forget to reconfigure the nutritional info if you do.

Wonderful with shrimp or langostino salad.

This is a perfect canvas for starting a variety of vinaigrettes and marinades.

This isn't low fat but it doesn't take much to make a salad taste great.

I like the flavored oils and vinegars from the "Oil & Vinegar" store. The possibilities are endless. This combination is particularly yummy, imho. =)
