Just what I had on hand tonight when we were looking for a snack. This is delicious!
We liked the kohlrabi-bean combination, so decided to whip the leftovers into a high protein, natural salad dressing.
South Beach Phase 1. I was surprised by how many calories this innocent-looking dressing packs, but it has a great taste and is worth it!
I have choosen this salad because its not only healthy for you, but it is so easy and simple to make.
This salad is a refreshing change from a typical green salad and makes a great meal on it's own.
Grow as much of this as possible in your garden - it taste's better.
Nice with Feta or Goats cheese if you can spare the calories
I prefer to mix this inside the Tupperware that I am going to store it in. My recipe makes 2 servings. I eat one serving and store the rest int eh fridge for lunch the next day! Perfect lunch for the stay at home mom!
My great uncle passed this recipe down. He was posted in the middle east for several years, I guess he brought this back with him. Very tasty!
I love the flavor of ranch dressing but hate the thick texture & all the calories. With this you get all the flavor in a thin, light dressing and you can have a lot of it with no guilt!
Yummy and very low cal chicken salad. Of course you could sub any veggies you liked, this was just what I had on hand. I ate it in a ww pita but it would also be good on salad or crackers. Omit the sriracha if you don't like spicy foods.
You can use more/less red hot to your liking... same with mayo.and other ingredients. I also added a sprinkle of cajun seasoning... YUM!
It made me feel like I was having hot wings for lunch... without the guilt!
