My daughter is in 1st grade and loves these when she gets home. We have also made them with a spinach salad on the side for a healthy light dinner.
I discovered these smoothies about a month ago and just love them...you cannot taste the spinach. You can add any fruit you want to change the taste. The banana helps the creamy texture.

Being somewhat addicted to Macaroni and Cheese - a cheat mean, a treat meal, a food that I cannot say "no" to... I decided I needed a healthier version, hopefully a little lighter on the calories, but definitely more wholesome and amp'ed up nutrition. This is an amped up version of a chickpea veggie burger I found online. I added the red pepper, garlic, and cheese. I eat all my veggie burgers on the Orowheat Sandwich Thins, they are only 100 calories, whole wheat, no trans fat, no HFCS, and they taste great.
I got this recipe off of 3fatchicks.com and I do not remember who the author was. I apologize. I added the sandwich thin instead of a traditional hamburger bun, to cut even more calories and add some fiber.
