This recipe is modified from Better Homes and Gardens New Cook Book Copyright 1996. I replaced one egg with two egg whites.
An old family favourite: make it in a pot on the stove, or in an electric skillet (this is better, if you have one). It fed my entire six-person family (including three growing boys) every time we made it!
This is a great vegetarian dish with loads of veggies and just enough spice to leave you with a tingle. It can be easily made vegan by nixing the cheese or replacing it w/ a vegan equivalent.
Some mornings, you just want that hot cereal! This is a great, FAST, convenient "instant" replacement for that oatmeal or cream of wheat.
Modified from a Paleo Breakfast bread... I was out of eggs, so I used the chia seed trick.
These are SO tasty and a great alternative to beef! I topped mine with diced avocado and shredded cabbage and it was phenomenal!
I make this often because my 1-year old loves it. Because I'm feeding it to such a wee one, I don't add a lot of seasoning while cooking, so many of you may find this too bland. Personally, I like to use a bit of spray butter, salt and cayenne pepper on mine! You can season it however you would like. This is a very versatile dish!
Again, a MASSIVE salad that you can eat all of without one single iota of guilt. For those who enjoy eating but not being fat!
