Instead of a traditional topping, I used a lilttle Kellog's Special K low fat honey granola. Came out very well.May need less sweetener depending on how sour the apples are.
I came up with this as we needed a dish that was healthy for a cardiac and diabetic patient and still tasted like a treat.
