Nutrition & Calorie Comments

a bit to many calories for one muffin for me
yummy... will have to try with substitutions for lower calorie count.
Same as everyone else I used applesauce instead of oil. I also used Splenda instead of sugar. Turned out nice and I enjoyed them as mini muffins.
Use overripe banana and miss out all the sugar
I added applesauce and deleted the oil, added walnuts and some carrots and substituted stevia for the sugar. Very good.

Spark on.
These are so good! Omitted the salt, though - didn't miss it at all.
Made these twice already and love them. Shared with a friend and she loved them too. I added walnuts and 2nd time I used almond milk which cuts calories too. They were great!
276 calories, that is too high for my snack. I am so glad others already saved themselves some calories.
I will follow their advice, I was surprised to see them so big and such high calories and carbs on this site. Pat in Maine.
I'd have to make too many adjustments in making this recipe work for me. The carbs are way out of my range, I would need to eat half. I would want something different.
This are very good. They work well with half sugar and half Splenda too. I cut down on the raisin and added some chopped pecans.
I think this recipe would be a lot less calories if the sugar was substitiuted for honey. Too many calories.
