I used the recipe for proportions. Had to sub 1/3 c. sugar for Splenda, only pineapple juice and peach gelatin. It was warm and runny when we ate. It was good that way. Chilled it firmed up and was also good. Even hubby liked the less sweet version. Sure beats the can.
Used the no sugar-added cranberry juice. Wonderful!
This sure was a good no added sugar recipe
I made this cranberry sauce last week to take to my daughter's. I added a can of crushed pineapple and used raspberry jello. This was so tasty, she has asked me to make it for Christmas again. No one even missed the sugar that was missing from it. Thank You.
Splenda is full of chemicals that are just as bad or worse for you than sugar. Try Stevia or xylitol. Sugar free jello has aspartame - A very unhealthy ingredient as well.
Very Good and low sugar. I havent been able to eat cranberry in a while. Thankyou.
wonderful find. i made it using sugar jello because that's what i had, but used the splenda in place of sugar and Pomegranite juice instead of orange, still wonderful. thank you!
I used a can of crushed pineapples with the water, nutmeg and cranberry jello (and fresh cranberries). Did not need to add any sugar or splenda, although it is a little tart. Very delicious!!!!
Very Good and sugar free too!
i love this recipe..my aunt makes this but doesn't use splenda.. no sugar.. she uses sprite/7-up/or gingerale, I don't remember but it adds something and tastes great! Thanks for the reminder
You are such a blessing! What a great recipe! My hubby misses cranberry sauce sooo much. ( diabetic ) I am always looking for great healthy holiday recipes to replace the old sugar filled ones. This is so yummy, thanks so much!
I tried this one last Thanksgiving, and it was a hit with the family. I couldn't find the sugar-free cranberry jello, so I just substituted SF mixed berry, and used orange juice and just 1/2 cup of the Splenda. I may do it again this year, and use cranberry juice.
This was SO delicious! I didn't miss the regular-sugar cranberry sauce at Thanksgiving at all.
*I used Ocean Spray "Diet Cranberry Spray" (only 5 calories and few carbs) 1/2 cup Splenda -- next time, I'll use less cinnamon.
This was GREAT! No sugar cranberry juice and just 8 packets of Splenda made for a very tart but tasty jello-like cranberry sauce. If you like tart stuff, 8 packets of splenda was good. Otherwise, I'd add maybe 12 packets...or adjust to taste.
