Yum! I liked it with just 1 tablespoon EVOO. It hit the spot when I wanted something crispy/salty.
I rinsed the beans and used spray oil and that worked fine. For a half cup of poppers the calorie count drops to 120 & the sodium to 231. These are musc better totals for me. I mis-read the amount of spices to put in so I only used about half. This was a mistake & the recipe was bland.
really great snack! 1st time I made them they stuck to the foil - so I used parchment paper instead and they didn't stick. Also good - Tony Chachere's Herb Seasoning (spicy and salty so go easy on it)... cheers!
