Nutrition & Calorie Comments

I love these muffins ! For me personally, they are quite addictive ! And inexpensive to make ! They are a huge hit in our house. Sometimes I haven't had the unsweetened applesauce around & so I use whatever I have & they still turn out great ( just a tad more sugar in them). Give them a try!
really easy. i substitued whole wheat flour, real butter for the oil, and added crushed walnuts and dried cherries! made a vanilla sea salt frosting (just a tiny bit on them)and it transformed it into a muffin/cupcake, great alternative for cupcakes!
Good! Did not do the cinnamon & sugar on top, I added it in the mixture based on some of the other comments. I also added vanilla to the steel cut oatmeal & raisins. They came out a bit chewy, but i tried to avoid over mixing. I will make this again.
these turned out wonderful thank you for sharing the recipe. i used 1/2 cuo brown sugar, and 1/2 cup white, i also used cinnimon applesauce ( all i had) so moist and yummy
Very good! I substituted 1/2 c brown sugar and 1/2 c white. Didn't have nutmeg and cloves so used extra cinnamon and they still came out yummy!
I substituted molasses for sugar and it turned out great.
