This was so great! My first crock pot experience, thanks for this recipe. I used a whole foods brand salsa (medium hot) and low sodium chicken broth. I was worried about the sodium content altering the flavor since I used low sodium broth but it was perfect. I see myself making this often.
Sounds great but will not use the broth because of the sodium, should be alright because of the salsa flovor.
Very good! I added fresh green beans and mushrooms. Also used low salt vege broth.
Delicious
substituted low sodium or salt free chicken broth and increased cumin and oregano. Yummy and not mushy in the crock pot on low setting but also cooks fairly quickly on top of the stove as well!
Sounds good, but will try to find a way to eliminate some of the sodium.
