Nutrition & Calorie Comments

Sounds like a lot of calories for one slice of bread but it was delicious and would be great for someone who has a higher daily calorie range than mine. (1,000 to 1,200)
I love this low carb cheddar bread recipe
I love this low carb cheddar bread recipe! Delicious
Great substitute for a bun, and great for a low carb diet! New recipe that is easy to make and I froze some and reheated them and they were great!
Seems like a lot of calories and sodium, I'll keep using romaine leaf for my burgers or sandwiches. Way easier and almost no cals. Or sodium or carbs..and no cooking
Low carb bread......excellent
I like the low carb, but it has too much cholesterol and sodium for me.
Is it still bread if it's low-carb
Good substitutions to keep the carbs down.
Tried it last night, we don't use fake sugar cuz it's bad for you so I used honey...was just right! Followed BADECLAN's directions as I was needing to make more than 1...turned out great!
I like the recipe as it is quick & uses healthy flax seed meal. I changed it slightly. I used Kroger sharp cheddar cheese reduced fat (finely shredded cheese)--has less fat & a pretty good taste. I used regular sugar but reduced it to 1 1/2 tsp. & added a pinch of salt.
Great low carb!
Works for sandwiches. Holds together well but taste isn't brilliant. We toasted it but edges folded inside toaster. But a great bread if you're craving bread badly. I plan to spice it up next time with herbs and might try a different low carb flour. All in all, excellent sub for high carb bread.
I used egg white and left out cheese on the second batch to lower the calories.Still good!
Perfect with cream cheese or as the bun to hold together any sandwich! I eat one almost every day as part of my low carb diet. Toasted or baked is the way to go!
I don't like using Splenda - don't use ANY artificial sweeteners. I've discovered Swerve, a 0 carb natural sweetener that tastes and measures like sugar! If I want to use my Swerve for this recipe, how much should I add?
I took LMCNAB's advice and baked 3 in a Corning Ware dish and 4 more on a Pam spayed cookie sheet for 15 minutes at 450*. This recipe is very good and you can actually slice them in half and have a sandwich which is amazing doing low carb! Try this and you too will be amazed! Thank you !
