Introduction

This is my favorite Charoset. I had found this recipe several years ago and I have made some changes to it over the years. This is my favorite Charoset. I had found this recipe several years ago and I have made some changes to it over the years.

Ingredients

    1 apple, chopped
    3 bananas, mashed
    1 orange, sliced and chopped,
    1 T orange zest
    1 cup raisins
    1/2 cup slivered almonds
    1 tsp cinnamon
    2 ounces sweet red wine
    1/4 cup matzo meal (kosher for passover)
    1T honey

Tips

I have never really measured anything. This year I will make it as it is written here.


Directions

Prepare all fruit and mix all ingredients together. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. Tastes better chilled.
