Introduction

This dressing turns my favorite greens into a meal. Maple syrup is not only full of calories it also contains necessary minerals, and the almonds are also very nutritious. Ingredients

    1 tbsp olive oil
    1 tbsp maple syrup
    3 tbsp lemon juice
1/5 tsp salt (the tip of a spoon)
    1 tbsp almonds, slivered

Directions

Lightly roast the almonds in the olive oil.
Take off burner, add maple syrup, cool a few minutes, add lemon juice and salt, you can also add your favorite herbs. I prefer to toss into the salad with dressing before serving for more even distribution.
Great with all salads, specially those with baby spinach, or organic mixed greens.
