Homemade crust is simiple, and you are in control of the ingredients. This is an all-natural pizza crust recipe using whole wheat flour, honey and olive oil rather than the traditional less healthy ingredients. This is an extremely versatile recipe! Ingredients

    1 1/3 C warm water
    2 T olive oil
    3 T honey
    2 C all purpose flour
    2 C whole wheat flour
    2/3 t salt
    2 t yeast

Directions

Put ingredients into bread machine in the order listed in the recipe. Turn machine on dough cycle (should take about 90 minutes). Divide dough into two equal balls. Roll into shape of pan or spread on pan with finger tips. If using finger tip method, use a drizzle of olive oil on pan to prevent sticking.

Top dough with your favorite healthy pizza toppings.

Bake at 450 for 10-12 minutes. Allow to cool 5 minutes before slicing.

Makes 2 pizzas, 4 servings per pizza for a total of 8 servings.
