Ingredients

Barilla Whole Grain Pasta - Rotini
    Shredded Parmesan Cheese
    Grape Tomatoes- Diced
    Carrots - Diced
    Black Olives - Sliced
    Broccoli - Chopped
Good Seasons Italian Dressing - prepared (I use 1/4 olive oil instead of 1/2 cup to make it less caloric and less oily)

Directions

Wash and chop the broccoli and put aside. Boil 4 cups of water. When the water gets to a rolling boil put the broccoli in for 1 min. Then take the broccoli out of the boiling water and immediately run under cold water. Put in a large boil. After you have blanched the broccoli fill the pot with 6 cups of water and bring to a boil. Put 6 servings of the the Barilla Whole Grain pasta in once the water is boiling and cook for 9 minutes. Immediately run under cold water water the boiling water has been drained. While the pasta is boiling, wash and chop the tomatoes and carrots and drain a small can of sliced black olives. Also prepare the good seasons Italian salad dressing, but only use 1/4 cup of olive oil to reduce the calories and make the pasta salad less greasy. If you are not concerned about the calories then use the entire 1/2 cup per the recipe on the packet. Once all the ingredients are ready, mix all together in a large bowl. After you have tossed them together it is ready to go.

This makes about 8 - 1 cup servings!
