Ingredients

    20 ounces canned chicken, drained
    1 pound finely shredded cabbage
    1 bunch green onions (scallions), sliced
    1/2 cup sliced almonds
    2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
    1 pack chicken flavor Ramen noodles
    3 tablespoons cider vinegar
    1/3 cup olive oil
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
    1 teaspoon granulated sugar

Directions

Makes about 12 servings.

Drain chicken well. Shred chicken into small pieces with 2 forks. Toss chicken with cabbage, green onions, almonds, and sesame seeds.

Crack Ramen noodles into small pieces and combine with slaw.

In a small bowl, stir together vinegar, oil, salt, pepper, sugar, and the seasoning packet from the Ramen noodles. Whip until well-blended. Pour over slaw, combine well.

Refrigerate for 2 hours or overnight.
