Introduction

My kids love these, and so does my husband! I have served them for breakfast alongside scambled eggs (the kids energy lasts way longer on this meal than on cereal). I have even served these with supper (we've done burgers with "shakes" (really smoothies). I pour the leftovers into dixie cups and put a small piece of foil on top and then pop a popsicle stick into them and freeze for healthy popsicles! (No High Fructose Corn syrup...Yay!). My kids love these, and they are quite filling too! My kids love these, and so does my husband! Ingredients

1 cup Avacado, 3 tbsp. Ground/ Milled Flax Seed, 2.5 cups Unsweetened Frozen Strawberries, 1 cup Unsweetened Frozen Blueberries, 1 cup Unsweetened Frozen Raspberries, 1 cup unsweetened Frozen Sour Cherries, 9 tsp. (3 Tbsp.) Granulated Sugar, 1 large banana, .5 Cup skim milk, 2 cups water (or more, as needed).

Directions

Makes 10 1-cup servings. Blend all ingredients in blender. You may do this in batches, if your blender is not large enough. Add more water if needed. You may use all water and no milk, or substitute different fruits as you wish. You can make it without sugar too. I add the avacado and flax seed for their omega 3's and nutritional benefits (you can't taste them at all).
