Introduction

Italian sausage marinara sauce. Very good home made pasta sauce. Italian sausage marinara sauce. Very good home made pasta sauce.

Ingredients

    1 Onion
    1 Bell Pepper
    2 stalks celery
    1 lb Italian sausage
    2 (or more) cloves garlic
    course ground black pepper
    Italian seasoning
    garlic powder
    onion powder
    4 cans no salt added diced tomatoes
    1 6 0z can no salt added tomato paste
    2 cans no salt added tomato sauce


Directions

chop veggies and saute in olive oil. When onions are translucent, add sausage and brown. drain if needed. Add seasonings, garlic & diced tomatoes and simmer for about 15-20 minutes. Add tomato sauce and simmer again. Add tomato paste and simmer some more. Sauce is done when bright red color disappears from tomatoes and sauce thickens on its own.
