Introduction
A simple, fast and incredibly tasty meal. Try varying the A1 sauce based on your taste. I don't like having to much but a little will give it an impressively nice tartness. The other spices settle this down and bring out a remarkable flavour! A simple, fast and incredibly tasty meal. Try varying the A1 sauce based on your taste. Ingredients
-
Carrots, raw, 1 large diced
Celery, cooked, 4 stalks cut diagonally
Onions, raw, 1 medium diced
Potatoes, raw, 2 medium (optional)
Cumin, 1 tbsp
Pepper, black, 1 tbsp
Pepper, red or cayenne, 1 tbsp or to taste
Oregano, ground, 1 tbsp
Sau Tao oriental plain noodles, or other soup noodles
Cauliflower, cooked, 3 cups
Heinz A1 steak Sauce, 1 tbsp
Water, tap, 8 cup
Directions
Note: Cook your chicken by boiling in the soup (increase time appropriately f you are cooking from raw), or by microwaving. I used left-over chicken from a roasted chicken.
1. Fill large pot (dutch oven) with water.
2. Add chicken, broken into bite-sized pieces
3. Bring to boil
4. Add vegetables
3. Stir in A1 steak sauce with spices and onion.
4. Bring to a rolling boil
5. Let simmer for 1/2 hour
6. Allow to cool before serving with bread and salad.
This is a very flavourful soup, I know that you will enjoy it!
Let me know if you have any creative additions and suggestions! :)
