10 oz edamame (fresh or frozen)
    3 tbs olive oil

    juice of one lime
    1/4 cup cilantro
    dash cumin
    dash salt
    dash black pepper

Serve this pretty dip with fresh vegetables as a break from high calorie onion dip or guacamole.

Cook edamame (if frozen, by instructions, if fresh, boil in a pot of salted water for 3 minutes. Reserve 1/2 cup of the water).

Saute garlic in oil until soft.

Puree garlic, oil, and edamame together. Add 1/2 cup water (or reserved water from cooking edamame) in a slow stream, while food processor is running.
