Ingredients

    1 15 oz can pumpkin
    1 can mushroom stems and pieces
    1 roll Jimmy Dean sage sausage
    2 14.5 oz cans chicken broth
    1/2 tsp ground red pepper
    1 cup heavy whipping cream
    1 medium onion
    1/4 cup Italian seasoning

Tips

Can keep on stove to keep warm for a minute or two but for longer remove from stove.

Potato soup variation:
Substitute sausage with hamburger and add 1 cup of parmesan into orange paste. Tastes like potato soup but still low carb! :)


Directions

Fry sausage with onion (chopped) and mushrooms and spices. When done, add pumpkin and heavy whipping cream. Stir to an orange paste. Immediately add chicken broth while continuing to stir. As soon as well blended, turn off stove. Serve immediately.
