Ingredients

    Cedar's Garlic Lover's Hommus
    red bell pepper
    carrot
    ground flax seed
    fresh parmesan
    whole wheat flour
    quick oats
    red/purple onion

Tips

When I created this recipe I used my kitchen scale. The recipe maker didn't offer ounces for each ingredient so this is as close to my recipe as I could get; however my exact recipe was as follows: 3oz. bell pepper, 2 oz. carrot, 2 oz red onion, 5 oz. hommus, 3 oz parmesan cheese, 2 oz. oats, 1 oz. corn meal, 1 oz. flax seed, and 1 oz wheat flour.

Directions

slice up red bell peppers, carrots, and onion into manageable sized for blender. Blend. Add the Hommus. Pour into bowl add oats, grated cheese, flax seed, corn meal, and flour. Mixture will be thick like a cookie dough mixture. Use a 1" scoop and make 30 balls. Add 12 balls to a parchment lined cookie sheet. Wet fingers to keep the dough from sticking to fingers. Pat out as thin as possible. I patted mine out to 2 to 2-1/2 in. I used a cooking cutter for a guide. Bake at 180 C about 350 F. After 15 min. flip the crisps over and bake for another 15 mins or until crisps are the texture you like.
