Ingredients

    500g Green Beans
    250g Bacon
2 Tsp Garlic (or more if you like)
    1 Tblsp Butter
    Salt and Pepper to taste.

Directions

Blanche green beans. Drain and leave to cool. Cut bacon into bits and fry to your taste. Remove bacon from pan. Place butter and garlic in pan. Once butter melted add in the green beans and fry. Add in salt and pepper to taste. Remember the bacon is salty so do not go crazy with the salt. Once beans are soft enough to your taste, remove and add in cooked bacon. Stir together to get all the bacon fat to cover the beans. Remove from stove and serve. Nice side dish with roast chicken. Enjoy.
