I make these for my toddler who loves them without syrup! Actually our whole family enjoys them. I sometimes make them with chocolate chips instead of the apple sauce, cinnamon and vanilla. Ingredients

    *Whole Wheat Flour, 1.25 cup
    Baking Powder, 2.5 tsp
    Oat Bran, .125 cup
    Wheat bran, crude, .125 cup
    *Trader Joe's Organic Sugar, Evaporated Cane Juice, 6 tsp or 2 tbsp sweetner
    *Reduced fat 2 percent milk, 1.25 cup
    Eggland's Best Large Egg, 2 serving
    Cinnamon, ground, 1 tbsp
    Vanilla Extract, 1 tsp
    *Apple Sauce Cinnamon Organic Trader Joe's, 127 gram(s)
    1 tsp salt

Directions

Mix all dry goods together. Then mix eggs and milk separately. Mix together. Scoop out 1/4 cup per pancake onto hot griddle or pan. Butter, Smart Balance or PAM recommended.

Serving Size: 1/4 cup of batter is one serving...makes about 16 pancakes
