Ingredients

    Okra, 15 pods (3" long)
    Toasted Wheat Germ, 1/4 cup
    Flour, white, 1/2cup
    Crushed cashew nuts, 2 tablespoons
    Toasted sesame seeds, 1tablespoon
    Dash of salt
    Egg, fresh, 1 medium
    Canola Oil, 1/2 cup

Directions

Wash and trim the okra slicing into bite-sized pieces. Beat the egg and toss okra in a medium sized bowl coating well. In a separate bowl mix all the dry ingredients and throw in with the egg-coated okra mixing well with a spatula coating all pieces. Fry in oil on a medium heat for 5 - 7 minutes in a good size frying pan turning once or twice to brown each side well.
