Ingredients

    One cake mix
One can of diet soda pop
    pan spray

Directions

This cake serves 20.
I use a disposable 1/2 size steamer tray to cook this cake in when I am baking in the kitchen. One a cook out I bake it in a 14" dutch oven with 12 briquettes on the bottom and 16 briquettes on the top.

Try mixing and Matching your flavors. Lemon cake with Diet orange soda, Yellow cake and Root Beer, Strawberry cake and Raspberry Pop. Just remember to get the levening action it needs to be DIET pop!

This works fast so make sure your oven is preheated or your briquettes are ready. Put the cake mix in a bowl, pour in the soda and stir just until the pop is all stirred in. It will be lumpy. Don't worry! Pour the mixture in your pan and bake for 30 minutes at 350*. We like pouring marshmellows on top in the last 10 minutes or topping this cake with whipped topping while it is warm.

    Very Good
I've heard that this is very good with chocolate cake mix and diet cherry coke. I will definitely try it. I'm a little unsure of the pan to use. - 5/28/08
