Ingredients

    11 oz Turkey, Ground turkey, 93% lean
    .5 Cup Black-eyed peas (cowpeas), immature seeds, cooked, boiled, drained, without salt
    2 cup Appel's Home-canned Tomato Sauce (by MOMMAEL)
    1 cup, chopped Onions, raw
    4 clove Garlic
    1 tsp Sriracha Hot Sauce (Rooster sauce)

Tips

Soak beans over night and rinse well before adding to the cooked turkey.


Directions

Soak peas, overnight. Boil 90 minutes. Brown ground turkey in pan with onion and garlic. Add tomato sauce. Simmer 35 minutes. Cover and let rest.
