Ingredients
-
16 oz Turkey, Ground turkey, 93% lean
4 tbsp chopped Onions, raw
4 tbsp Celery, raw
1 tbsp Green Peppers (bell peppers)
1 tbsp worstershire sauce (by FOURMULA)
0.25 tsp Salt
1 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar, Bragg's Organic
1 tsp Pepper, black
1 tsp Turmeric, ground
2 clove Garlic
1.5 tbsp Olive Oil
Tips
If your burgers cook too slowly on the stove, you can finish them in the oven at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes after browning each side on the stove.
You can also make these ahead for cookouts and picnics.
Directions
Chop all Vegetables. Chop Garlic.
Add 1tbsp Olive Oil to pan and heat just to smoking. Add vegetables and saute until onions begin to get translucent. Add garlic and continue to saute until onions are completely translucent. (You can add a bit of water if you need more cooking time.) Remove from heat and allow to cool.
Put Ground Turkey into a large bowl. Add all seasoning and cooled vegetables and mix well with hands. Shape into four burgers.
Allow burgers to rest in the refrigerator for at least 1/2 hour. You can also prepare these the night before you want to make them.
Add remaining Olive Oil to a skillet, coating the entire surface. Cook burgers until they are browned through. Cook for at least three minutes on a side before flipping.
