Ingredients

    1 head, medium (about 5-3/4" dia Cabbage, fresh
    2 cup, diced Celery, raw
    2 serving Onions, yellow sauteed 1 cup
    2 cup, chopped Carrots, raw
    148 gram(s) Red Bell Peper
    6 clove Garlic
    4 cup (8 fl oz) Chicken Broth
    4 cup Vegetable Broth
    8 serving Tomato products, Hunts Diced Tomatoes w/ Basil, Garlic, and Oregano
    3 tsp Oregano, ground
    3 tsp Basil, dried ground (by MELISSA_X0)
    2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
    3 tbsp. fresh Basil

Tips

U can use all vegetable broth or just plain water instead of the chicken broth.


Directions

Heat 2 Tab spoons of olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
Add chopped celery, onions, bell pepper, and carrots
Sauté until slightly tender
Pour in chicken and vegetable broth.
stir in tomatoes and chopped cabbage
Bring to a boil then reduce heat to a simmer
cook until cabbage is tender about 20 minutes
stir in oregano, ground basil and fresh basil, ( black pepper,salt if using)
