Ingredients

    1 cup lowfat plain yogurt (try a Greek strained yogurt if you can find it -- very creamy!)

    1/2 cup cucumber, peeled and diced

    1 tbsp red onions, diced

    1-2 tbsp white or white wine vinegar

    Fresh Dill to taste

    Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions

Mix all ingrdients in a non-reactive bowl. Use as a spread for sandwiches and burgers, as a dip for pita chips and veggies, or as a topping for salads.

    I made this today and it is very good. I am a mayonaise junkie, and am anxious to find good substitutes to put with my sandwiches and meals. I am hoping to find the greek yogurt so I can use that the next time I make this. Thanks for sharing this great recipe. - 7/26/09
