Ingredients

    2 Cups Dry Rice

1 pat of butter, (just enough to coat warmed saucepan)
    3 Cloves garlic, minced
1 Cup Land O Lakes Fat Free Half and Half
    1 Tbsp Garlic powder
    1/2 Tbsp salt
    1 Cup gorgonzola crumbles
    black pepper to taste

Directions

Prepare rice as directed on package.

In separate sauce pan, warm butter and minced garlic over low heat until garlic is softened (remember: low heat. Do not burn the garlic.) Raise heat to medium and add FF half and half, salt, and garlic powder. Stir constantly until liquid is hot, but not boiling. Add gorgozola crumbles and wisk until crumbles are mostly melted (may appear lumpy, that's fine.) Add gorgonzola sauce to cooked rice and mix well. Add black pepper, if desired. Cover and let rest for 5-10 mins before serving.

This makes a pretty large batch, but the leftovers keep well and are even better the next day.

10 heavy 1/2 cup servings.
