Introduction

I made this as a 'mistake' when I ran out of Alfredo sauce and had to get another 'cream base' together. I don't like using canned soups unless low in sodium, so this was a perfect alternative. My husband doesn't like tuna, but this recipe proved to be a favorite of his as everything else in it helps mask the taste. Ingredients

    1 package - Egg Noodles
    1 - 8 oz. Cream Cheese (1/3 less fat)
    1 - 4 oz. Velveeta slice (2%/low fat)
    1/4 c. Milk, 2%
    1 - 6.5 oz. can Tuna Fish in water
    2 c. fresh broccoli (frozen can be used if needed)
    1/4 c. bread crumbs

Directions

* While cooking/boiling noodles, melt together cream cheese and velveeta, add milk

* As noodles are close to done, add in broccoli to give it some color (if frozen, at least until cooked)

* Drain noodles/broccoli and add to cheese mix

* Drain Tuna and add to mix, stir until mixed.

* Put contents in casserole dish (2-3 qt.), top with bread crumbs

* Bake for about 15-20 minutes

* Serve, enjoy and have with a side of Cinnamon Applesauce :)

* Makes 8 servings
