Introduction
This is a new spin on a tradition Chinese/Japanese recipe. Instead of ground pork, use beef tenderloin. This recipe isn't spicy, because I made it for my kids. But, it would be easy to add spices without adding calories.***Please note: The 1 cup of water is optional. Add as much as you feel is neccessary depending on cooking temperature and time. 9 oz. Beef Tenderloin
1 block Tofu (12 oz.) (Cubed)

1 c. vegetable broth (or beef/chicken/pork)
2 tbs. sake (or white cooking wine)
1 tbs. Red Miso
1/2 tsp. sugar

Saute:
2 tsp. minced garlic
1 tsp. minced ginger
1 tsp. sesame oil
1 c. chopped onion
Directions
1. Saute garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and onion in crockpot.
2. While onion mixture is cooking, broil beef tenderloin at 500 degrees to remove excess fat.
3. Mix sauce ingredients together and add to sauting items.
4. When beef is fully cooked, remove from oven and thinly slice. Add to crockpot along with the tofu. Stir gently to avoid breaking the tofu.
5. Cooking time, temperature, and additional water will varry. This could be cooked on the stove without the additional water and served immediately. The longer it is cooked the more flavorful the tofu will be.
6. Serve with steamed rice and top with 1/4 c. sliced green onion. Enjoy! :D
