Ingredients
-
1 small Minced Onion
1 Tbsp. Canola or Olive Oil
1 Tbsp. Yellow Mustard
2 Tbsp. Sugar or Brown Sugar
2 Tbsp. Cider Vinegar
1 15-oz Can Diced or Whole Tomatoes
1/4 Cup Catsup
1 Tbs. Worcestershire Sauce
Salt and Pepper to Taste
Directions
Saute onion in oil over medium heat for 5 minutes. Add remaining ingredients (add cayenne or tobasco if you like it spicey) and heat thoroughly. Add mixture to browned chicken, spare ribs, or other meat and bake at 325 degrees until very tender. Reserve 1/4 cup of sauce to add at end of baking.
Making it with boneless, skinless chicken breast is a healthy choice. Pork spare ribs are fatty but delicious if you want to splurge for a special occasion.
Makes 6-8 servings.
