Introduction

Pizza using squash as the crust - low carb and pretty good. Can also use a slice of tomato sprinkled with the spices instead of the sauce blended with the spices. Both taste great! Ingredients

    4 medium Summer squash (yellow straight-neck are great)
    2 cups Kraft 2% Shredded Cheddar Cheese

    SAUCE INGREDIENTS:
    1 cup Tomato Sauce
    1 teaspoon minced Garlic
    1 teaspoon Onion powder
    1/4 cup grated Parmesan Cheese
    2 teaspoons dried oregano - NOT GROUND OREGANO
    1 teaspoon Rosemary, dried


Directions

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees

Slice the cleaned squash lengthwise into 3 even slabs. Should be about 1/4 inch each in width.

Place the squash on a greased cookie sheet.

Mix all ingredients for sauce together in mixing bowl.
Spoon over the squash.
Sprinkle with the cheddar cheese.

Bake for 15-20 minutes at 400 degrees. Serve hot with salad and fresh fruit.
