Ingredients

White Rice, long grain, 2 cup
*Brown Rice, long grain, 2 cup
Green Peppers (bell peppers), 0.5 cup, chopped
Bamboo shoots, raw, 227 grams
Waterchestnuts (water chestnuts), 227 grams
Mushrooms, canned, 285 grams
*Kikkoman Lite Soy Sauce, 3 tbsp
*Kikkoman Teriyaki Sauce & Marinade, 1 tbsp
Peas, frozen, 1 cup
Carrots, raw, 2 medium
Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped
Garlic powder, 1 tsp
Water, tap, 1.5 cup (8 fl oz)
Directions
Cook the rice a day or two ahead and set aside in the refrigerator.
Pre-chop the onion, green peppers, and carrots (diced). Set those aside in the refrigerator.
You should be able to pull this meal together quickly by adding the oil to a non-stick saute pan.
Add the onion, green peppers, and carrots to a moderately warm pan and saute them until the onions are translucent.
Add the straw mushrooms, bamboo shoots, peas, and water chestnuts. Stir until mixed, add the water, and cover the pan briefly for about 2 minutes to steam the peas.
Uncover the pan, add the rice and add the seasonings.
Very quick meal if you do the prep work ahead of time. Enjoy!
