Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    12 1/2 C servings
    * Milk, 0%, 0.25 cup
    * Parmesan Cheese, shredded, 4 tbsp
    * Garlic, 4 clove
    * Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 1tspn
    * Red Potato, 750 grams
    * Turnips, 750 grams
    * Bacon - Center Cut Oscar Mayer 3 slices

Directions

1) Peel and slice Turnip into chunks to boil.

2) Wash, Dry and slice Red Potato's into chunks to boil.

3) Place turnip and red potato into a large pan, add water and cover to boil.

4) Peel and slice garlic cloves place in oven proof dish add 1 Teaspoon of Olive Oil and roast in oven on 350 approx 10 minutes. Turning half way through cooking time.

The garlic will continue to brown in the olive oil when you remove this from the oven.

5) Cook three slices of Oscar Mayer Center Cut Bacon, drain grease, pat dry and cut into small pieces with kitchen shears.

6) Drain cooked potato and turnip thoroughly return to pan.

7) Add bacon and roasted garlic adding in any remaining olive oil.

8) Add Shredded Parmesan cheese.
I add 3/4 of the cheese and hold back the last tablespoon to garnish. You can add all of the cheese at once in you prefer.

9) With mixer on low begin to whip the potato and turnip mix, gradually add 1/4 C fat free milk. I use Hood Simple Start FF.

10)Spoon into bowl, garnish with a pinch of the remaining Parmesan cheese
