I went shopping at my local Meijer store, and couldn't decide what I wanted for dinner when I came across one of their recipe cards with this recipe, and I fell in love.
This dish was delicious! It was like having Chinese take-out, but vegan and a much healthier portion. I found a packet of Panda brand orange sauce mix and went from there. This recipe would also we delicious with sweet and sour sauce.
The inspiration for this salad came from a trip to my local Asian/Latino market called the ABC Market. The mung bean sprouts there come in large pre-filled bags so I was faced with what to do with extra sprouts (because they only keep a few days) and I needed a quick dinner solution between grocery shopping.
