This is a recipe for crepes, the very thin French version of pancakes. The yogurt in the recipe acts as a thickening agent, cutting down the amount of flour needed. You can use any flavor of yogurt you want to change the taste of your crepes.
Crepes are great for many different types of meals. Fill with sugar free syrup with fruit or sugar free preserves for breakfast. Cheese and grilled veggies for lunch! Or add some low fat Cool Whip, sugar free chocolate syrup and your favorite fruit for a guilt-free dessert! I love experimenting with all the different things I can make with them. I hope you like them, too! :)
A combination between cordon bleu with tomato sauce and vegetables all together. A great mixture of flavor and healthy food.
This is adapted from a recipe that my husband liked to make years ago. It is now GF and lower in calories.
This is my great-great grandfather's recipe from Martinique. It is different than the creamy American style french dressing. This dressing is lemony and zingy. Great with anything that has avacadoes in it!
This is Julia Child's most popular beef bourguignon recipe. It has been slightly modified for crock pot use.
I love making Ratatouille in the fall. I get all the ingredients from my farmer's market and freeze it to enjoy throughout the winter.
The ingredients are flexible. Make a mix of fall vegetables that appeal to you and cook them up for a fragrant, hearty ratatouille.
This is a very simple spinach recipe that even my greens-hating boyfriend will eat. The parmesan cheese can be reduced for a more low-fat option. I've had gruyere and parrano on this as well and it's amazing! I usually just season with salt & pepper but I've added garlic powder, green onion, and italian seasonings as well.
