This is our basic French toast recipe made with Sarah Lee's 100% Wheat Bread. It makes 7 slices which I used as servings, in case you want to just add one to your breakfast.

This is basically Ina Garten's recipe for chocolate-dipped strawberries. I have halved the cream which still gives a creamy chocolate consistency, but helps the chocolate to harden when chilled. I have changed her chocolate melting instructions. Microwaving works great and is much easier than the double boiler she suggested.
This delicious recipe can be made in an 8X8 baking pan or into 15 regular sized cupcakes. This recipe was adapted from another recipe. To make it more heart healthy, I have substituted the milk for nonfat evaporated milk, two egg whites for the egg, and Splenda for half the sugar. I have also replaced the oil with applesauce to remove the fat from the cake part. The butter can be substituted with a cholesterol free margarine.
