When I am craving a biscuit with my tea this is my favorite recipe. You can sub chocolate chips for a little sweet chocolate craving and still be low in fat and calories.
a little lower in fat because I leave out the coconut but great fiber source. To make it even lower you could probably use margarine or canola oil but the texture is different and may need longer to bake.
This is a meal in itself and I might add a half a grapefruit on the side but it stands alone in nutrition and it is filling

The smoky flavour of this soup matches the smell of the bonfire! It’s thick with vegetables and beans and you could use a can of baked beans if your children aren’t keen on kidney beans. Supply spoons for easy eating but serve the soup in mugs so that hands can be warmed while eating. It is unusual to thicken a soup with flour, but it works well here, resulting in a hearty soup in which neither the fresh or canned vegetables are over-cooked.
Mom's Zucchini Bread recipe from Tablespoon.com, substituted some of the flour for whole wheat and added walnuts

Fresh fruit, in my case, Mulberries, were used to make this quick and easy jam. It is whole fruit jam with no added sugar so it is thick and spreadable.

I made a few changes to recipe submitted by ARFICAPARISH by adding the whole ground flax seed meal, slithered almonds and substituting the orange juice concentrate. I made a double recipe, dividing the batch between 3 foil pans.

Garlic-based chicken sausage stir-fry on top of a bed of baby spinach and whole wheat angel-hair pasta. Can be prepared the night before and eaten as dinner and have some leftovers for lunch the next day!
