Flour (1&1/4 cup - separated)
6 Tablespoons Butter Flavored Crisco
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/4 teaspoon Baking Soda
1/2 Tablespoon Cider Vinegar
2 to 3 Tablespoons Water
2 cans Wilderness Cherry Pie Filling 21.5 oz cans
1/2 cup Whipped Light Cream, pressurized
I made this for Mama on 8/5/11. It was delicious and easy to make. It's like a custard which makes it easy and simple. I used home-grown apples which may not be the best "baking" apples. Would try with some others from the store next time that might prove more flavorful and better baking as well. But still was delicious for breakfast this fine day....which happens to be the 26th year anniversary since I got my job at STandard Insurance Company! Also is Lucy Ricardo's 100th if she had stayed around to enjoy it.
