This is a version of Texas Sheet Cake (delicious!) modified to half the usual calories, and put in cupcake form for portion control.
Makes a fast easy dense chocolate cake. I've even mixed up all the dry ingredients and placed them in containers for fast easy cake mixes. I found this recipe because my husband's grandmother use to make one very similar to it for him as a treat. This is soooo not low cal or anything, but i'm looking at ways to improve it.

This is a recipe that was taken from several that I found but made some adjustments to make it my own. It is low-fat and low-carb especially since I subbed the sugar with Equal. It is a sweet treat when I get cravings for something familiar that I can no longer have as a diabetic-cheesecake!

Easier to make than an angel food cake. Use as a replacement. Can make in layers with a layer of jam between. Or make in angel food pan and use as strawberry shortcake.
