Homemade spaghetti sauce using tomatoes and bell pepper from my garden, along with a bunch of other ingredients! This is only "poultry" because it uses chicken broth. Using vegetable broth would make it fully vegan!
Perfect over spaghetti squash or zucchini "noodles"--the whole family loves it, including our toddler! I make a double batch and freeze half for easy weeknight meals.

Spice up jarred sauce. I also use Mrs. Dash Tomato and Basil spice. The spices of course can be adjusted for taste.

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees Break up almond paste into pebble-like pieces Combine almond paste, sugar, confectioner's sugar and egg whites in electric mixer on low speed until blended.
2Increase speed to medium and continue mixing for 2 minutes.
3The dough should be sticky now.
4Keep a bowl of water near by to dip your fingers in before rolling each cookie.
5This will keep the dough from sticking to your fingers.
6Roll dough into one inch balls Roll balls around in Pine Nuts Place 2 inches apart on cookie sheet lined with parchment or Silpat Lightly flatten each cookie Bake for 15-20 minutes Allow to cool completely before removing from parchment with a metal spatula.

A healthy homemade tomato sauce that I use for spaghetti and other sauces such as lasagna, casserole, etc.
Cook Pasta. Cut chicken into strips and cut in approx 1 tbs olive oil. Once finished, take chicken out and set aside. Saute veggies except tomatoes until cooked to desired firmness. Once vegatables are bone, add back chicken add tomatoes and stir with pasta and enjoy.
